Below are estimated time frames to complete dents based upon size. These times can vary based on material, the thickness and the location. This is a generalization based on past experiance.
Small dents and dings
  • Usually golf ball size or smaller
  • On a flat part of the metal
  • Does not have sharp crease marks
Small to medium dents
  • Up to several inches in size
  • Hard to reach or no internal access
  • Some body line damage
Large dents
  • Dents around softball size to football size.
  • Sharp dents through the body line.
Very large dents
  • Basketball size plus dents
  • Multiple body lines dented
